Build Haven’s Interior works Material Warranty
1. Warranty Coverage:
This warranty covers all products and services provided by Build Haven, effective from the date of delivery or completion.
The warranty applies to defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and conditions.
The warranty terms and conditions are binding, unalterable, non-transferrable, and exclusively provide benefits to the original purchasers of the product.

The warranty shall not extend to damages caused by the client's misuse, negligence, or normal wear and tear. Furthermore, notwithstanding any provisions contained in the woodwork warranty, no warranty shall be applicable for surface damage or damage arising from scratches to acrylic, high-gloss laminate, duco, PU, and/or veneer. Discoloration of laminate shall not be encompassed within the scope of coverage provided by the policy. |
Woodwork - Plywood (carcass) | 10 Years | This warranty provides coverage for structural issues including delamination, edge-band peeling, bubbles in lamination, and borer infection. It also extends to any bend exceeding 8mm resulting from weather conditions and atmospheric moisture levels. company's Plywood is specifically designed to be resistant to borers and termites. | Our warranty policy does not cover damage to woodwork caused by continuous seepage of water and/or dampness resulting from water seeping from the ceiling, flooring, walls, countertop, or any other surfaces, as well as other site conditions. Additionally, damage resulting from misuse, negligence by the client, and normal wear and tear is not covered under our warranty. Furthermore, it is important to note that despite any provisions within the woodwork warranty, no warranty is provided for surface damage and/or scratches related to acrylic, high-gloss laminate, duco and PU, and/or veneer. Discoloration of laminate is also not covered under the warranty policy. |
Woodwork - Plywood Century brand (carcass) | 15 Years | This warranty provides explicit coverage for structural issues, specifically addressing delamination, edge-band peeling, bubbles in lamination, and borer infection. Furthermore, it includes protection for any deformations exceeding 8mm caused by weather conditions and atmospheric moisture levels. | Damage to woodwork due to continuous seepage of water and/ or dampness because of seepage of water from ceiling, flooring, walls, countertop, any surface and/ or other site conditions is not covered under our warranty policy Damage due to misuse and negligence by the client and normal wear and tear will not be covered. Further, notwithstanding anything contained under woodwork warranty, there shall be no warranty for surface damage and/ or damage due to scratches in relation to acrylic, high-gloss laminate, duco and PU, and/or veneer. 2. Time Period:
Modular Woodwork: 10 years from the date of installation.
The company's modular woodwork does not universally carry an automatic 10-year warranty for all its components. Each part of the final product is subject to an individual warranty that is product-specific warranty to that particular component (Refer table).
On-Site Woodwork & Customised furniture: 2 years from the date of completion.
Civil Work and other site services: Not covered under warranty
Third Party Products: As set forth by their respective manufacturers and suppliers, and they include the following:

Sinks, Taps and any Plumbing installation: Manufacturer’s Warranty on the Products | Period as defined by the manufacturer | The installation of taps and drain pipes is not covered under warranty for any leakage occurring after the handover. | The company shall be responsible for rectifying any leakage occurring during and immediately after the installation works carried out by the company. |

3. Exclusions:
Normal Wear and Tear: This warranty does not cover natural aging, wear, fading, or deterioration of materials over time.
Environmental Factors: Damage due to environmental conditions (e.g., moisture, humidity, pests) is excluded.
Misuse or Abuse: Damage resulting from misuse, neglect, or improper maintenance will void the warranty.
Unauthorized Modifications: Any alterations made by the client or third parties without prior written consent will void the warranty.
Accidental Damage: Damage resulting from accidents, natural disasters, or other unforeseen events is not covered.
4. Claim Process:
Clients must report any defects within 10 days of noticing the issue.
All claims should be submitted in writing to Build Haven.
Build Haven will evaluate the claim and determine if it falls under warranty coverage. Upon verification, the product shall be subject to repair or replacement, with a product of equal or comparable value not exceeding the original purchase price.
In the event that unauthorized repair work has been performed on a product without obtaining prior authorization from the Company, the warranty coverage for the product shall be automatically rendered void.
5. Remedies:
If a defect is confirmed, Build Haven will either repair or replace the defective material at no additional cost to the client. It is important to note that due to variations in materials and finishes, the replaced product may differ slightly from the originally installed product, as batch differences in laminate, veneer, or other materials may result in slight variations.
The client will be responsible for any labour costs associated with the removal or reinstallation of materials.
6. Limitations:
This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original client.
Liability is limited to the cost of the defective materials; Build Haven is not liable for any incidental or consequential damages.
