Terms And Condition
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the design services provided by Build Haven (“the Studio”). By engaging our services, you (“the Client”) agree to comply with these Terms.
Scope of Services
The Design Studio (Build Haven) will provide design services as outlined in the Client Intake Form and any subsequent agreements.
The Services may include, but are not limited to, space planning, furniture selection, colour scheme development, and project management.
Design and Management
Design charges-
Concept proposal, mood boards, and general estimation will be provided once token advance is received.
Complete detail 2d drawing, 3d renderings and production drawings will be done, once the first stage is approved and 5% of the estimated project value is paid.
Animation or walkthrough will be additional charges of Rs.200/sec.
Full house renovation design charges are Rs.25/sqft and will vary based on the amount of work involved. Please contact us to know more.
Major changes upto 2 times only will be entertained at each stage.
The designer will be available to help with overall output, civil changes and material selections which will be provided at no extra cost for the duration of the project.
Design Changes Due to Technical Non-Feasibility: During the execution phase, minor design changes may be necessary due to site conditions, material changes, material unavailability, and/ or technical non-feasibility or any other reason beyond the control of Build Haven. The Client will be explained the implication(s) thereof and asked for approval for these changes by the designer/ project manager. The quotations are subject to potential modifications/ changes throughout the process due to the above-mentioned factors, up until the move-in.
Quote Validity
Prices quoted in the proposal are valid for one month from the date of issue of this estimate, and the prices quoted are applicable to this proposal only. Any modifications/ add-ons may result in a change in prices and timelines. The rates quoted, are an estimate based on the current design proposal and the sizes considered/assumed for the client's interior project, based on the floor plan/ measurements provided. They are likely to change till the sign-off/ production stage, based on the actual measurements on-site and/ or design and/ or material changes made by the client, or as per the client's instructions.
Payment terms
Payment is due upon starting of each stage. All payments made at all stages are non-refundable.

*All mentioned payment has to be paid on total order value.
Project and order: A project can have multiple order types based on the type of scope of work (modular work, on-site services and store products). Payments are processed on an order level.
Refund Policy – Our services are provided in stages, and the corresponding payment is non-refundable.
Cancellation Policy – If you cancel the project at any stage, all payments made up to that point are non-refundable.
Special custom-made items cannot be cancelled once manufacturing has commenced. Payment for all such items is required in full.
Booking fee: Your booking fee (10% payment) is adjusted against future orders. If the scope of your project increases significantly, you shall be required to pay 10% for the new scope before design can begin.
Execution stages: Execution stages help us track the progress of your order. They mark the completion of each stage at which balance payment (for that order type) will be due. Build Haven can proceed with the rest of the order only after the amount due for that execution stage has been paid for.
This quote is indicative and generated based on your current requirements. As a quote is affected by the design, product, materials, colours and services you choose, it is subject to change. Please speak to your designer to understand how she/he can work around a budget.
If the project scope or value is changed at the execution stage, then any free gift(s)/discounts offered during the time of sale is subject to changes.
You can make payments via online transactions. Other modes of transaction such as cash, cheque etc. are also available. When you get started, your designer will guide you in detail.
We have structured our payment terms to break down the quotation amount into instalments. These instalments are due when a certain set of tasks has been done onsite, for a better interiors journey.
Order placement stage
At this stage, orders for modular woodwork are placed and material is shipped to warehouse for production. Civil work and manufacturing of custom furniture and décor items will be initiated as per defined execution stages. Please note all work specific to an order will begin only after the specified payment has been processed.
Execution stages help us track the progress of your project. They mark the completion of an important activity at which payments are due.

Our catalogue products will be manufactured alongside the work done onsite. This need to be paid for in full before delivery of products. These are general guidelines that can vary from project to project. Payment requests will be shared as per the actual percentage of work completed.

Delivery and Execution
Times and dates quoted for delivery of goods or materials or completion of any work are to be treated as an approximate estimate based on current trading conditions and the Designer shall not be held responsible for delays outside its control. The lead time quoted is approximate only and given in good faith. Although "Build Haven" will endeavour to keep to this time frame, if goods are delayed for any reason outside our control including force majeure events, we cannot accept liability for consequential losses as a result.

Modular Delivery & Warehousing
For projects where the scope only includes modular products, our team would request the customer to confirm the material delivery date according to the readiness of the site with civil work completed. The material will be dispatched once services on site are completed, and corresponding payment is made. In case of the site not being ready, the material would be stored in the warehouse for up to 10 days beyond the planned delivery date, after which warehousing charges would be applicable, at Rs 500 per day until the actual dispatch date.
Post Handover Service
Build Haven shall provide post-handover service to the customers as mentioned below:
• During the project execution stage - You are entitled for free service requests for manufacturing defects only if any. Civil works – technician visits and installation works will be part of ‘Build Haven’ services.
• Within 30 days from the date of completion of project - You can make any number of free services requests
• Between 30 days and 1 year from the date of completion of project - You are eligible for two free service requests.
• Beyond 1 year from the date of completion of project - Any service request made after this period shall be attended to on a chargeable basis
Cancellations & Return:
At design stage: Any product in the tentative Boq can be replaced or removed while you're still discussing designs with our team i.e., before order placement. ‘Build Haven’ cannot cancel, replace or modify items once the order is placed since each item is made to order.
Products with non-manufacturing defects and damages post-delivery are not eligible for returns or replacements.
The returns policy is not applicable to services, customised products and made-to-order furniture pieces.
Quality Promise:
The unparalleled Build Haven Quality Promise assures you a premier home design experience. With multiple quality checks at every stage, we ensure all our products are free from any material and manufacturing defects.
Variances in wood, marble and leather etc, are to be expected as no two pieces of furniture, cut from unique materials, can be identical to those that are on display.
Marketplace furniture, decor products and accessories sold via Build Haven are covered by the manufacturer's warranty period.
Despite our best efforts and precautions, errors such as differences in material quality, material deliveries, site works, installer errors, vendor errors, and the like can occur. We are committed to fixing such errors at the earliest.
Marketplace products
All furniture, decor, appliances and accessories which belong to the ‘Build Haven’ brand partners are referred to as marketplace products. All registered brand partners undergo intensive quality and background checks. Guarantees and warranties, if any, are directly provided by brand partners for products and services offered by them and are not covered under quality promise. Build Haven only acts as a facilitator to ensure brand partners honour their commitment/ guarantee/ warranty and under no event can be held liable for any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive or consequential damages and quality issues.
Client Responsibilities
The Client must provide accurate information regarding their preferences, requirements, and budget.
Access to the project site must be granted to the Studio during agreed-upon times for consultations and installations.
The Client will supply all necessary information and give all necessary approvals/decisions to the designer for the proper and timely execution of the Project. If instructions are not forth-coming the designer or project manager cannot be held responsible for ensuing delays.
Site Readiness and Handover
It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure that there is sufficient and safe access for items selected and for our staff, to the designated area and that there is sufficient access for our delivery vehicle to reach the delivery address.
Lift and Power Provision must be provided by client, and in the absence of lift provision, material delivery charges to floors above Ground floor, will be chargeable at 2500/- per floor.
All walls with putty and 1 coat plastering and painting should be completed. All Doors and Windows should be fixed. Flooring should be completed, levelled out and prepped for material delivery.
The Client will appoint and reimburse for the services of any other consultant or craftsman as requested by the client. Build Haven members will not be responsible in any way for the competence and performance of their services. In certain circumstances where "Build Haven" employs a specialist or craftsman direct, the Project Manager will be responsible for the proper execution of their work.
Build Haven team will not be held responsible for client’s goods left at the site premises or with suppliers for whatever reason. Clients are responsible for the insurance of their own goods with their own insurance company.
If you chose to relocate your furniture to any private storage facility Clients are responsible for the insurance of their own goods. No further liability or relocation obligation in respect of your furniture rests with ‘Build Haven’.
We recommend the use of felt pads, to be put on all furniture legs, and to take extra care when moving furniture around the room to avoid unnecessary damage to wooden or tiled floors.
Each delivery of goods will be inspected by our nominated representative to confirm receipt of goods. Any complaints in relation to goods having suffered accidental damage prior to delivery must be notified to “Build Haven” within 4 days.
In order to complete and deliver your interior design project, we at ‘Build Haven’ may need to share your contact details with our suppliers appointed delivery team and technicians. You hereby agree and consent to the provision of such details (without further contact with you) to the delivery team and technicians for this purpose. In the event that you notify us of an issue and/ or defect with your furniture order post- delivery we may need to share your contact and delivery details with our/our suppliers appointed technicians in order for the technicians to assess, inspect, repair, remove or replace such product.
Value Added Services
Floor Covering of your existing space will be charged extra at Rs. 8 per sft/ this will be done by default by Build Haven and added to your bill at the time of going to production as per actual site measurements.
Deep cleaning for your space post-handover can be provided by Build Haven at an extra cost as below:
2bhk = Rs. 7500 + taxes.
3bhk = Rs. 9000 + taxes.
3bhk = @ 8 Rs. per sft on SBA.
Build Haven will coordinate on the Client's behalf with the builder's agents, with respect to furnishing details of civil, electrical, and plumbing changes if any. If site work is delegated to Build Haven, we will coordinate the civil work execution, material delivery and on site works accordingly.
Studio Responsibilities
In performing professional services, "Build Haven" shall exercise reasonable care and competence and shall carry out its duties in a professional manner. The Studio is responsible for communicating regularly with the Client, managing the project timeline and budget and ensuring all work meets industry standards.
Intellectual Property and Confidentiality
All designs, drawings, and material prepared by the Studio are the property of the studio.
The client is granted a non-exclusive license to use the designs for the specific project. All designs shared with the Client at any stage of the design journey are the exclusive copyright of Build Haven.
Any designs shared by Build Haven cannot be used, installed, and/or shared in any way or form without the prior and written consent of Build Haven.
Both parties agree to maintain confidentiality and not disclose proprietary information
